This is the twenty-fourth of thirty entries for #BlogFlash2012.

I've chosen to link the prompts into a single story. Each episode will be 100 words or less, as per the guidelines. The prompt for each day will appear below the picture and be capitalized in the story.

The Genesis Project – Day Twenty-Four

“I’m out in left field, Paulina,” Rasmussen says, brow furrowed with worry and frustration. “VSC won’t return my calls, Remy is locked down in that damn estate and the hospital won’t let me talk to Emmaline.”

She grabs the keys off the peg. “Come on. Let’s take a drive.”

“What? Now? I don’t see how – - ”

“You’re the sweetest man I know, Raz, but sweet doesn’t get you in the door. Luckily for you, I know how to push my way in. Nobody leaves my man alone IN THE WOODS without so much as a flashlight or map!

Great use of the prompt to progress the story. I have no doubt that Paulina can be pushy :-)
