This is the nineteenth of thirty entries for #BlogFlash2012.

I've chosen to link the prompts into a single story. Each episode will be 100 words or less, as per the guidelines. The prompt for each day will appear below the picture and be capitalized in the story.

The Genesis Project – Day Nineteen

Dr. Rasmussen greets them at the reception desk.

Moments later, Victoria strides into the lobby, sees them and stops short. “Joseph, I don’t remember seeing Jeremy and Emmaline Walsh listed in our division of assets.”

Remy grabs Rasmussen’s sleeve. “Hang back and enjoy the FIREWORKS.”

Emmaline smiles at Victoria. “We waited to contract with Dr. Rasmussen until after your consent for final documents was notarized.”

Victoria lets loose a string of expletives.

“You’ll have to excuse us now,” Emmaline says, sliding her hand into Remy’s. “We have an appointment.”

Rasmussen ushers them into his office and shuts Victoria out.
