Blog Flash 2012 DAY ONE

This is the first of thirty entries for #BlogFlash2012.

I've chosen to link the prompts into a single story. Each episode will be 100 words or less, as per the guidelines. The prompt for each day will appear below the picture and be capitalized in the story.

 

THE GENESIS PROJECT

Today's Prompt: THINKING

Joseph Rasmussen steeples his fingers. "The two of you need to decide what you want from these sessions."

"What we need, doctor," says Remy, as he wears down the carpet in front of the door, "is for you to sign off so the consortium will allow us to get back to work.”

Emmaline shifts on the sofa, her raw-silk dress making an elegant ‘whooshing’ as she moves. “Yes, that’s the one thing we agree on. Returning to work is imperative.”

Rasmussen sighs and says to no one in particular, “I THINK this is going to be a very interesting month.”
